Employer engagement and job related outcomes are increasingly important for many FE colleges and independent learning providers, particularly in terms of funding and quality indicators. This strongly suggests a more extensive and demanding role for the workplace assessor.
Assessors play a key role in supporting learning and quality assuring outcomes in the workplace. They have extensive links with employers and their staff and often have access to valuable information about the employer and their business. Given their proximity to employers, assessors have significant potential as key players in effective employer engagement. This one-day event will explore the new role for the assessor and cover:
